Ledenconcert Splendor – Familiereünie

Ledenconcert Splendor – Familiereünie

On a rare and very special occasion, I have succeeded in bringing my father and sister to Amsterdam for a chamber music evening together. My father has always played a central role in the musical upbringing of my sister Niamh and me. Our parents’ home in northern Germany was —and still is— constantly filled with music, an environment that deeply inspired both of us to choose this path.

As children, we performed together regularly, but as our professional lives have taken Niamh to Helsinki and me to Amsterdam, opportunities to make music together as a family have become increasingly rare.

For my very first Ledenconcert at Splendor, I have invited my father Kevin and my sister Niamh to join me on stage. With this concert, I hope to celebrate the joy of making music with my family and to offer the Splendor audience a glimpse into the musical roots that continue to shape who I am as an artist.
