Delta Piano Trio
The Delta Piano Trio has announced the appointment of Nuala as its new cellist, joining violinist Gerard Spronk and pianist Vera Kooper.
The Delta Piano Trio was established in 2013 while its members were students in Salzburg, Austria. It has won the first prize at competitions including the Orpheus Chamber Music Competition in Switzerland, the Orlando International Chamber Music Competition in the Netherlands, and the Salieri-Zinetti International Chamber Music Competition in Italy. In addition to two successful CD releases, the Delta Piano Trio has also collaborated with artists such as Nobuko Imai and performed Beethoven’s Triple Concerto with the Basel Chamber Orchestra.
‘After more than 10 years of incredibly enjoyable collaboration, our cellist Irene Enzlin has decided to focus on projects outside the trio. This means that our paths will separate and Irene will leave the trio’. We are extremely happy and proud to now introduce Nuala McKenna to you as the new cellist of the Delta Piano Trio!
